Candidate can apply online until November 23, 2023. The date of the CTET 2024 Exam is set for January 21, 2024
CBSE CTET 2024 Notification
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level examination conducted in India by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in primary and upper primary schools. CBSE will be conducting the CTET in the month of January 21st 2024, in 20 languages in 135 cities at various examination centres across the country. Eligibility Criteria of CBSE CTET January 2024 Exam
Age Limit:
Minimum 17 years and
No upper limits.
Educational Qualification:
The minimum educational qualifications for appearing in the CTET are as notified by NCTE. The candidates are suggested to visit the website of NCTE https://ncte.gov.in to confirm their eligibility.
Classes I-V or Primary Stage (Paper 1):
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) (a) who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two year of such appointment as primary teacher”.
Classes VI-VIII or Elementary Stage (Paper 2)
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
OR
Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for CTET January 2024 from the official website of CBSE CTET. Steps to follow:
Go to the official CTET website - www.ctet.nic.in
Click the Apply for CTET Jan 2024 link on the homepage.
Click the New Registration button now.
Provide your address, phone number, password, security pin, and personal information, then hit submit. Create the login information, then use it to complete the application.
Proceed to complete the CTET January 2024 Application Form, attach the necessary files, and make payment for the CTET Application.
Lastly, use the official website to submit the CTET 2024 Application Form for the January session.

CBSE CTET January 2024 Exam Date
The CTET January 2024 Notification session is set for January 21, 2024. The test consists of two parts, which are referred to as papers 1 and 2, and it will be broken up into two sessions. This two exam sessions are an afternoon session and a morning session. The exam schedule and schedule for the CTET January 2024 are available to candidates.
