Medical and Health Recruitment Board, Assam has published an official employment notification Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 for the recruitment of Medical Officer (Ayur) posts under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Assam and Govt. Ayurvedic College & Hospital, Guwahati.
Only Indian Citizenship having requisite qualification as per norms of National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) from recognized institutions are eligible to apply. Total number of vacant posts is 101. Salary Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000 to 1,10,000 with the Grade Pay Rs. 12,700. The age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as on 01/01/2023. The qualification of the candidate should be a Bachelor Degree in Ayurveda from a University or its equivalent recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine under the act.

Age for Health & Family Welfare Recruitment 2023
The minimum age for the Medical Officer (Ayur) Post is 21 years and the uper age limit for the post is 38 years as on 01.01.2023.
The upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates of reserved categories as per existing provision.
Educational Qualification for Health & Family Welfare Recruitment 2023
Essential Qualification: A Bachelor Degree in Ayurveda from a University or its equivalent as recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine under the act.
Other Requirement: A valid registration with the Assam State Council of Indian Medicine or a valid Central or National Registration Certificate issued by Central Council of Indian Medicine or National Commission for Indian System of Medicine.
