AFCAT is nothing but a national-level entrance exam conducted by the Indian Air Force to recruit officers for various posts in different branches of Indian Air Force. Eligibility Criteria of Indian Air Force AFCAT 01/2024
Nationality : The candidate must be Citizen of India
Educational Qualification:
Flying Branch: Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks and Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.
Ground Duty (Technical) Branch: Engineering degree in relevant disciplines or equivalent degree.
Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch: Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.
Final Year Candidates : Yes, Eligible and they can apply. However they have to produce pass certificate in due course of time.

Candidates must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course and marriage is not permitted during training.

Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as on 01 January 2025. Born between 02-01-2001 to 01-01-2005 (both dates inclusive).
Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years as on 01 January 2025. born between 02 January 1999 to 01 January 2005 both dates Inclusive).
Age Relaxation : Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 year i.e. born between 02 January 1999 to 01 January 2005 (both dates inclusive).
