APSC Previous Year Question Paper
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) for the recruitment of various Grade I officer cadre vacancy under Government of Assam. APSC also conduct other departmental examinations for Government services and recommend candidates for Direct Recruitment to the various services of the Assam State Government. In this article we will try to provide you last 10 (ten) previous years' question paper of APSC and sincerely wish these papers will benefit to future APSC aspirants.
Assam Public Service Commission had recently announced the official notification of APSC CCE 2022 (APSC Combined Competitive Examination, 2022) for the recruitment of 913 vacant posts.
As per the official notification, the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination (APSC CCE Prelims) were already conducted on 26th March 2023 and the results were released on April 12, 2023. Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary exam are eligible to appear for the mains exam.
Further, APSC CCE Mains exam 2023 started on July 08, 2023, and concluded on July 10, 2023. There are 913 vacancies in various posts such as Assam Civil Service, Assam Police Service, Labour Officer, Superintendent of Taxes, Superintendent of Excise, District Transport Officer, Assam Finance Service, Block Development Officer, Assistant Manager, District Industries Centre, Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Co-Operative Education Officer, Administrative Officer Minorities Development Board, Inspector of Taxes, Inspector of Labour, Inspector of Excise, Assistant Employment Officer, Sub-Registrar, Assistant Audit officer (Assam Audit Service), Assistant Accounts Officer (Assam Accounts Service), Guidance Counsellor, Assistant Research Officer, Assistant Public Relation Officer, Registrar, Assam Urban Administrative Service (Executive Officer- Jr Grade II) and Block Development Officers which are filled through the APSC CCE Recruitment drive 2022.

The APSC Combined Competitive Examination consists of following two successive stages: -
The APSC Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
The APSC Main Examination (Written & Interview Test)
APSC Previous Year Question Paper | APSC CCE (Preliminary) Exam
The APSC CCE Preliminary Examination consists of 2 General Studies question paper of objective type with 200 marks each.
General Studies-I:
Total Marks - 200
Duration - 2 Hours
Type - Objective
30%-35% questions will compulsorily be related to Assam
General Studies-II
Total Marks - 200
Duration - 2 Hours
Type - Objective
Qualifying nature, shall have minimum qualifying marks of 33%.
APSC Previous Year Question Paper | APSC CCE Main Exam
The APSC Main Examination consists of written examination and interview tests. The written examination shall consist of six papers on the subject of General Studies with two paper of Optional Subjects of conventional essay/objective type and two qualifying language papers. Marks obtained by the candidates in the main examination (Written Part as well as Interview) would determine their final ranking.

Qualifying Language Papers
In addition to above 8 papers, there are two more qualifying language papers (of class 10 level) in the main written examination. Marks obtained in these two papers is not counted for ranking but the candidate must passed these two papers.
